In the past these popular new cosmetic ingredients were predominantly extracted from the stem cells of apples. Nowadays, however, they are derived from sea holly. Sea holly has proven particularly adaptable to prevailing environmental conditions and offers an innovative active ingredient for use in cosmetics.

The ampoule concentrate contains whole stem cells extracted from sea holly to help restructure and protect the skin at several levels (different to the first generation of stem cell cosmetics, which only offered an extract from apple stem cells!).

→ Stem cells are rich in lipids, amino acids, polyols, polyphenols and sugars and work on the epidermis and dermis as well as on the matrix in between.

→ In the epidermis, stem cells promote the proliferation of skin cells and so accelerate skin renewal, while helping to neutralize damaging and oxidative free radicals and reducing inflammation.

→ Specific mediators and molecules responsible for communication and linking between the epidermis and the dermis are both protected and stimulated.

→ Within the dermal layer, stem cells help to stimulate collagen synthesis and the production of proteoglycans (which strengthen the skin matrix).

→ Free from mineral oil, PEGs, parabens or silicone.
